Long awaited post...

Hey Everyone! 

I'm sorry it took me 4 days to finally post, but I have a good reason for it. There was a problem with my host family's router. But tonight my host uncle, Sedar, came over and finally solved our problem. Here is a quick overview of my flights: 

#1 (FW-Chicago) - It was fast, only 26 minutes

#2 (Chicago-Frankfurt) - It was long and I had these two old drunk ladies as my seat "partners". Plus, the Frankfurt airport was awful. 

#3 (Frankfurt-Istanbul) - Only 4 hours. And good news, I got a window seat and whole row to myself since our plane wasn't full! 

Arrived in Istanbul on Wednesday around noon local time.

Today my little host cousin, Naz, my host mum, and I made cookies! 

Also, my first day of school was Friday. I love it! I'm in the IB class. All the kids at school are so nice, I've already made some friends :) I'll post a picture of my school uni soon, I promise.
